6 medium mild white onions
1 1/8 cups sifted flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup olive oil
1 cup milk
1 egg, slightly beaten
Instructions:
1. Slice onions into 1/4 inch thick rings and separate.

3. Mix flour, salt, milk, oil, and egg until just moistened.
4. Dip onion rings in the mixture.
