Crispy Air Fryer Shrimp Croquettes with Sriracha Mayo

Ingredients:

3 tbsp butter or margarine
1/4 cup flour
1 cup milk
1 tbsp minced onion
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/3 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/8 tsp ground red pepper
1 large egg, lightly beaten
2 cups chopped cooked shrimp
1 3/4 cups saltine crumbs
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/8 cup sriracha (to taste)

Directions:

1. Melt butter in a saucepan, stir in flour, then gradually add milk. Cook until thick.
2. Add onion, Worcestershire, salt, pepper, and red pepper. Stir in egg and shrimp. Chill for 1 hour.
3. Shape into balls, roll in saltine crumbs, dip in egg, then roll again in crumbs.
4. Preheat air fryer to 395°F.
5. Cook for 10–13 minutes until golden.
6. Mix mayonnaise with sriracha and serve on the side.

 

Packed with chopped shrimp and bold spices, these croquettes are crunchy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and paired with spicy sriracha mayo.
