Crispy Homemade Air Fryer Potato Chips with Black Pepper – Better Than the Bag!

Ingredients:

2 large sweet potatoes
2–3 tbsp cornstarch
Olive oil (to coat)
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp sriracha (or to taste)

Directions:

1. Peel and cut sweet potatoes into fries, no thicker than 1/2 inch.
2. Soak in water for at least 1 hour or up to half a day, changing the water a few times.
3. Drain and shake the fries dry, leaving them slightly moist.
4. Add cornstarch to a plastic bag, drop in the fries, and shake until well coated.
5. Preheat air fryer to 395°F.
6. Add fries to the basket, spray or toss lightly with olive oil. Cook for 12–15 minutes, stirring halfway through.
7. Mix mayonnaise, cayenne, and sriracha for the dipping sauce. 

These healthier sweet potato fries are air-fried to crispy perfection and served with a bold and creamy sriracha mayo dip.
